My career in HR, especially in training and leadership development, has taught me that people are the greatest asset to any organization. Nurturing talent, fostering growth, and leading with empathy are the keys to create thriving, engaged teams that drive success.

I enjoy working in HR because it gives me the opportunity to help improve company culture and organizational success by creating meaningful connections, solving problems, increasing employee job satisfaction, and bridging communication and process gaps.

For employees to be truly happy in a business environment, they seek fair wages, feedback, a
sense of purpose, clear goals, work-life balance, good leadership, and competence.   In addition
to ensuring labor law compliance with our clients, we work with them to ensure that they are
mindful of their employees' needs and concerns.  Together, we create a company that adheres to
all applicable labor laws, while ensuring that their employees have a voice and feel heard.

Nobody wants to wake up in the morning, go to work, and do a bad job! They want to know what to do and know how to do it. Every employer should equip their employees with everything they need to be successful.

Human Resources is a multifaceted, ever changing department which keeps me challenged, focused and content with every aspect of my career. No two experiences are the same.

I love working in HR as I can help other businesses improve their policies and create an environment where their employees can thrive and be valued for their contributions. I also enjoy meeting clients from different industries and the opportunity to create meaningful and lasting relationships.

I am most passionate about helping people navigate the ins and outs of dealing with their work environment and ensuring they are appropriately dealing with their most important resource, their employees and their clients. It is important to treat everyone with respect and appreciate all they offer.

I love assisting companies and agencies and all types of entities in not only following the applicable laws but in being most effective in their day to day operations. If I can offer the assistance they need in any given situation and address all of their concerns, I am happy.

In the 25 years that I practiced law as a labor and employment attorney, I consistently saw small businesses fail to thrive because of avoidable legal mistakes. I founded Gotcha Covered HR specifically to help the small businesses of our community grow and prosper by learning how to be proactively HR compliant – as I love to say, ‘resolving issues in the conference room instead of the courtroom.’
