A New Orleans native, Jennifer attended Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology followed by a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Education & Workforce Development. Having always enjoyed learning about how people and groups think, the master’s program gave Jennifer the opportunity to combine that interest with a newfound passion for adult learning theory and organizational development.

Over the course of her career Jennifer has worked within banking, aviation, and engineering. Although her main job functions originally centered around training and development, her scope widened to include workplace investigations, screening and interviewing, onboarding, goal planning and performance appraisals, policy review and revisions, HRIS system implementation, payroll processing, performance management, and offboarding.

Spurred by increasing interest and involvement with human resource management, Jennifer received her SHRM-CP credential in 2019. Inspired by her own journey, she has served as the NOLA SHRM Certification Director since 2021.

Jennifer is driven by a desire to help people grow and learn as well as to assist companies better align their policies and processes.

As the mom of three young boys, Jennifer stays busy. Outside of work and spending time with her family, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, working with community service organizations, and reading.
